The MCP-12S-APT Air Purification Tower is a compact cartridge filter for decentralized indoor air purification.

Dirty air enters the unit at floor level into the efficientfiltration compartment, clean air is blown back into the workplace through 60 individually adjustable nozzles at high speed on top of the unit.

The unit is delivered as three pre-wired components requiring several mechanical installations. With a built in fan it requires only power and compressed air supply to be connected to complete the installation.

Inside the unit are 12 patented Uni-Clean filter cartridges. The filter cartridges are cleaned automatically by an energy efficient compressed air reverse pulse system. Cleaning is activated by an integral electronic controller. The filter is made out 2 mm galvanized sheet metal parts.

The MCP-12S-APT is easy to maintain thanks to the following features:

• Front access allows easy inspection and service of the cleaning valves, compressed air tank and filter cartridges
• Ergonomic and easy maintenance of the unit, due to location of controller and electrical cabinet
• Simple emptying of the dust bin.

The MCP-12S-APT is designed to complement at source capture systems such as down draft benches, extraction arms or on torch extraction . It is not designed to replace source capture however there are applications where source capture systems cannot be used such as:

• welding on large fabrications that require a large degree of movement
• areas where overhead obstructions such as cranes prevent duct from being used
• working on large objects, where frequent relocation of source extraction arms negatively impacts productivity
• as additional air filtration solution to meet more stringent air quality requirements

In these cases, air purification towers could be used alongside RPE systems simply as additional air filtration solution to meet more stringent air quality requirements.

The MCP-12S-APT has 4 versions

• Low height version
• Low height version with inverter control
• High height version
• High height version with inverter control

The outlet header for the high versions can be rotated 260 degrees and raised to allow for high ceiling bays.
